how to deal
she went to work that day, graveyard yet again. he said he's out with his best friend for a few drinks, that he'll just see her home later. fine for her, he's with his best bud. though she's noticed he's been going out more and more since they've changed skeds, it was comforting for her knowing he's just with a good friend. a male friend. a text to the best bud's wife even confirmed it.
she got home. surprised to find, on the sofa, a gorgeous bouquet of her favorite flowers. long stemmed and not just from the market. each beautiful bud with its own plastic thingy that holds water. looks expensive. it was. she noticed a stem slightly bent, it was broken halfway. but heck, this was far the biggest romantic surprise from him. not a broken stem could ruin it. shop's mistake, she thought.
a letter sat beside the bouquet. he said he was sorry for coming home late. or was it early? 4 am. wrote some more high school-y stuff. she was blushing while reading it. it was the sweetest thing actually. what he wrote. her smile was a mile long.
she tiptoed to their bedroom. found him snoring lightly. changed her clothes then snuggled inside the comforter with him. they kissed. all was well.
you see, the best bud's wife texted ME this morning. HE hasn't been out with her husband. not in a while.
oooOOOooo
they met and fell in love. he made her travel back to a place she thought would take a while before she'd go back to. his words were sweet. she was in love and so was he. said he.
they got married, exchanged vows and promises. she got pregnant. she had her first baby. his third. he was previously married here. they were living the US. she petitioned him through marriage. she was so in love and so was he. said he.
in between, there were fights and making up, just like a normal married couple. they'd fight about money, bills to pay, plastics, his kids' tuition, having to eat out or not. even the rock she wanted him to give her. she got it eventually, after bugging him. she's still paying for it.
then, there was the other girl. they met through the net just like they did. she had confronted him countless times about it. he promised he'd never email or call or text her again. he promised her and his parents, when they found out she was going to leave him because of the other girl.
but he still did. he even met up with the girl when he came here last january for vacation. their emails confirmed it.
their baby is 3 months old now. she was still clinging to that thin fray of hope and faith that he had cut off his communication with the other girl. that finally it would just be a thing of the past. she was afraid of what would happen if she found out he still hasn't.
and found out she did.
she packed her bags monday night. their baby's, too.
enough is enough na ate dinz. gaano mo man kamahal ang isang tao pero if they don't love you back.. it's useless. lahat nagawa ko na just for our family to be whole.. i guess he loves this girl so much that he's willing to give up everything to be w/ her. so be it if that's the case. i'm done.you see, HE is my brother.

there was a party two nights ago in my neighbor's house two doors down. they had videoke. they had beer. they had loud guests. plus they were singing off key, at the top of their lungs, volume turned up. till the wee hours of the morning.
i hope they had the worst hang over the day after. i hope it lasts the whole week.

new cellphone #1
dennis said i could buy a new phone as my advance christmas gift from him. yey! but would i really spend that much just to buy a new phone when the one i'm using right now is working perfectly ok? well, maybe NOT that perfectly ok, but working. all that hard earned money for a capricho? i don't think so.
instead, i'm having two day beds made with the money to buy the phone. something i have always wanted to have for our house. so we can already return the sofa we are using which we borrowed from my inlaws. kinda like this but not as grand. i already bought the foam for the mattresses. :)
instead of my christmas gift from him, it will be My christmas gift FOR him. surprise, surprise...=)
